This hotel has offered a group rate of $119 per night.   Be sure to mention that you are attending the Rose City Triathlon.  This hotel is the closest proximity to Lake Tyler West, the location of the triathlon.

This hotel offers suites complete with different living/sleeping areas and have fully equipped kitchens.  They are holding 15 studio suites for the date of September 12 for one night at the rate of $125.   Guest will need to have reservations booked by that date. 

The Studio Suite includes a queen size bed, full bath with a large vanity area, fully equipped kitchen and a living area with a sofa sleeper, chair w/ottoman and some even have fireplaces.
 

There are many other fine hotels in Tyler with more competitive rates but the location will be a longer driving distance to the race area.  However, in no case would the driving distance from a Tyler hotel be more than 30 minutes.
